 U subotu, 26. svibnja 2007., od 11sati nadalje, u dvorištu Doma tehnike u Valpovu te istovremeno na Sajmu znanosti i tehnike u Varšavi, posjetioci će imati priliku izmjeriti opseg Zemlje Eratostenovom metodom. Metoda se temelji na mjerenju sjene štapa i određivanja visine Sunca u dva udaljena mjesta istovremeno. Iz razlike visina izračuna se opseg Zemlje. Svi posjetioci koji uspješno obave zadatak dobit će uvjerenje.
Akcija je plod međunarodne suradnje Astronomskog društva "Anonymus" i Poljskog Astronomskog Amaterskog Društva (Polskie Towarzystwo Miłośników Astronomii).
Novo! Rezultati mjerenja 
Projekt je uspješno završen! Oba astronomska društva došli su do iznimno preciznih mjerenja, te dobili opseg Zemlje. Time se još jednom dokazalo kako je Eratostenova metoda jedan od najvećih eksperimenata u povijesti.
