Mjesec i Venera

If you happen to catch a glimpse of the night sky on New Year's Eve, look on the west. You'll see a nightly event known as conjunction, an apparent close-up of two or more night sky objects.

One of them is planet Venus, and the other the Moon, one of the brightest objects in the sky, so you can't miss them! However, you'd better hurry, the Moon sets at about 8 p.m.

In spite of the full Moon and city lights, a thanks to the rain that "washed" the sky, we managed to take a few photos of a weird comet slowly moving towards the star of Mirfak, the brightest star in Perseus. The gases of the comet have spread around a relatively small core, and now the comet is bigger than the Sun! A beautiful sight is worth watching even with binoculars, so don't miss the view as long as the sky it clear!

(Un)Identified Flying Objects above us

NLO na Mjesecu :)Imagine yourself strolling with an ice-cream in your hand, enjoying the wonderful and warm evening, you look up into the starry sky and... You don't believe your eyes! From the excitement ice-cream lands directly on your favourite T-shirt, you curse the pastrycook and his whole family for making the damn thing, simultaneously shout : "There it is!" waving towards the sky like a lunatic. People stare at you in wonder and whisper "yet another madman", "it must be the ice-cream" and "forget the fool".
