Zvjezdoljupci, travanj je mjesec astronomije u 2010. godini!

Udruženje astronoma amatera “Astronomi bez granica“ (“Astronomers Without Borders“), godinu dana nakon Međunarodne godine astronomije (IYA 2009) i njenog najuspješnijeg projekta 100 sati astronomije, organiziraju novi događaj – StarPeace (Zvjezdani Mir).

Udruga “Astronomi bez granica“ proglasili su travanj Mjesecom astronomije u  2010. godine te se tijekom mjeseca planiraju razne konferencije, promatranja, star partye, predavanja i ostale događaje promovirati i popularizirati astronomija i to ponajviše od strane astronoma amatera.

Povodom ovoga, planiramo održati promatranje noćnog neba otvoreno za javnost, u subotu, 10. travnja 2010. u dvorištu Doma Tehnike u Valpovu. S početkom u 20h.

O čemu se točno radi?

Konkretno, događaj pod imenom StarPeace obilježava se na slijedeći način. Ako Zemlju podijelimo po stupnjevima geografske dužine na 10 dijelova, dobivamo 36° jednakih dijelova. U svakom području po cijeloj dužini kugle Zemaljske pozivaju se astronomi amateri i udruge da na točno određen datum i vrijeme (za tu geografsku dužinu) održe popularna predavanja, promatranja ili općenito promoviraju astronomiju kao znanost i hobi.

Gdje smo tu mi?

Za razdoblje od 10. do 12. travnja uloga pripada, između ostalih, astronomskom društvu "Anonymus“ iz Valpova, koje je dobilo poziv za ovaj projekt i svojevrsnu međunarodnu suradnju od astronomskog kluba iz Bukurešta, koje se nalazi unutar 36° od nas te za iste dane obilježava ovaj projekt.

Promatranje u Valpovu

U sklopu ovog projekta astronomsko društvo “Anonymus“ će u subotu, 10. travnja, organizirati otvoreno promatranje noćnog neba u Valpovu iz dvorišta Doma Tehnike (Braće Radića 34) s početkom od 20 sati. Pozvani su svi da sudjeluju na promatranju, jer u slučaju dobrih vremenskih prilika zasigurno neće požaliti. U slučaju naoblake, cijela akcija se odgađa za 24 sata, dakle nedjelja 11. travanja u 20h.
