This academic year, the international year of astronomy, we will be organizing a school of astronomy for students in elementary schools. Applications are not limitted in number or date, but the lectures and workshops are held in Croatian.

    Lectures and meetings would take place Saturdays at 6 p.m. at the House of Technical Culture in Valpovo (location).

    Ovo je izuzetna prilika za djecu s područja Valpovštine, osobito uzevši u obzir da matične škole Belišća Valpova i područne škole nemaju vlastiti program izvannastavnih aktivnosti iz astronomije.U programurada nalaze se predavanja o najvažnijim astronomskim područjima, promatranja noćnog neba, radionice, te školska i županijska natjecanja.

    Predavanja i radionice omogućavaju učenicima da nauče sami izrađivati radove te ih samostalno izlagati. Program je prilagođen uzrastima, neobavezan, uz mogućnosti prilagodbe za potrebe učenika (vrijeme dolaska, i sl.).
