Alojz Peterle, a slovenian presidential candidate, has announced that in the next few years, they will launch a satelite, with an aim of advancement in space flights and computering.
A similiar thing intrigued the best-known Croatian astronomer, Korado Korlević, who told Slobodna Dalmacija: "It is enoguh to pay the Americans, Russians and French a certain fee, so that they can attach your own satelite when they launch their own. For example, students can make a project of sending a fuel bucket for 50.000 US $ and call it a satelite!" He believes people of Slovenia want to support the development of other economical branches.
