Supernova is a stellar explosion which happens when a dying star collapses, releasing enough gravitational energy to destroy the whole star! The most luminous supernova in the last 400 years was observed in 1987.

Last Saturday, on July 4, Filip held a lecture on our participation in the Croatian Meteor Network (CMN), and on its operations in the first year. For those of you who couldn't make it, we've uploaded the complete lecture on YouTube, available only in Croatian.
Astronomy club "Anonymus" is a significant part of the Network. A year ago, a camera was set up on our building, and since then it has continuously been capturing frames of the night sky in search for meteors. Mr. Filip Novoselnik brings out the most important facts about our work and the Network in general.
