Our astronomical society is situated in a small town called Valpovo in Eastern Europe, in Croatia. We are a part of an Civil Center for technology in Valpovo, as well as other clubs and groups such as Robotic Society, Modelars and others. Also, many computer courses are held here.

For a while now, we have been teaching and working in a small room which has been through many redecorations and cleanings and has put up with a record group of people. We hope to soon have a bigger space and access to computers to make teaching and discussing easier.

    Plan grada - gdje smo?

Valpovo is a small town, famous for many things, especially for the Normann-Prandau castle. When in Valpovo, you might have difficulties getting around, so here’s a town map to help you find us. As you see, it’s really a small place. We have been meeting on the same place at  the same time for the last 12 years, since our group has been founded.

When you see the building from the picture on your right, you’re there. Of course, we occupy a small room just behind it.

  • Meetings

The best time to visit us is from
7pm local time (UK time + 2h) every Saturday. That’s when the regular meetings are held and we are sure to be there. If you’re arriving during the week, drop by the secretary’s office, where you can find out more about our meetings and how to get in touch with us.
